its been almost 3 months since i last updated. This shows how BUSY im! hahaha or maybe jus too lazy.. like i said when i jus started this blog, it prolly would last more than 3months lOL..
Jus missed my last make up lab session but heck la. 1AUs only n e most time consuming one ahahah

Exams in 19days (starting to feel e stressss again n i hate this feeling! always get it during exams time :( ) still got 2 reports to finish -one tech comm. n one biz elective essay sigh..
Then goo lect. n tut. to catch up with. by then its exams already! :S

Oh but im sure looking forward to after exams!! 3months break!! WOOHOO!!! oh wait. not 2mnths only coz my IA starts in july. Then FOC in august (looking forward to tt!)
This year's FOC will b super fun coz we're staying n chalets most of e days n one nite in underwater world :D Thanks to YOG, we can leech a large sum of money frm student affairs foc to back our camp up as all e halls will be closed for renovation during e long break.
Which means we will hav no halls to stay in during FOC n gotta look for outside accom. n it oso means tt when sch term starts, we'll have NEW ROOMS to stay in!!! Wheee :D

And after a meeting to de-conflict the accom. with other halls, we jus realised tt ALL of the 16halls will be booking changi aloha chalets for their FOC and focs r all held in e same week!
PLUSss most of e halls will b having fright nite on wed.. hahah which means basically e whole changi aloha chalets clank will b booked by ntu ppl plus 120freshies x 10halls will all be screaming on wed nite at around e same time frm 12mn to 5am LOL.. (hint hint: pls avoid Old CGH tt area during e first wk of august)

HAhaha ok shall go back to do my work now. needta stay focus! FOCUS YEA! 19more days to go!!

Woah.. its 3am already and im still typing this lol.. anw 2big things r supposed to be held today n im just glad that its all over :)
The best thing is that both ended with how i hoped it'll end n it all ended well :D thank you Lord for listening to my prayers as well as others who prayed for me too! yay!!

Firstly, i had my u21 quarter-final at 7pm. then, the by-election of the new hon. gen. (honurary secretary of our hall jcrc) or more like voting period was frm 630-1030pm.
On top of that, yesterday i got hit on the chest but a softball (wanted to catch it but it missed my gloves lOL..) and today i felt very off very occasional chest pain.

My team mates din play as well as they could hav for the quarters today -could hav won w/o going into sudden death. but then thank God, we finally beat crescent club thru penalty strokes after a 80mins game plus a extra 15mins sudden death. So now we're on to semis which is this coming sat against OVA. Hope we can win them as well!! hehe its my last yr playing in this competition (u21) so i really hope to bring back a gold medal or silver one at least heh :)

Then after my game ended today at 910pm, i received updates abt my standing in the by-election n i was so worried that i will not get it. So i grabbed my stuffs n rushed back to hall. managed to reach 15mins b4 the voting ends at 1030pm phew! at least i get to cast my vote :D

After that it's just pure waiting for the results of the vote count to come out. Had a bad feeling abt it, i just cooked a cup of instant noodle n sit in th lounge to watch tv n eat my dinner. THEN, came the news abt the result.

I WON!!! Hahahah YAY! was very happy coz first of all, i din expect a win n secondly, even if i win it'll probably be a very close fight btw me n another candidate but hey! i got 61% plus of the votes!! (more than 50% :D)

Can say its shuang xi lin men (double happiness) today :)
couldnt really sleep well last night coz all the events happening today but tonight i can have a gd nite sleep Yay!!

N Happy Chinese New Year to all my dear frends!

I dunno why but i seems to get busier as the days go by and my studies isnt exactly on form :S
Oh well, actually i know why la. i think im involved in too much things already. and all of these are really draining me up, im not as involved in my church fellowships as b4, im sleeping lesser and lesser (lyk wat 4hrs or 5hrs per day??) and im not reading my bible as often anymore! :S

This is lyk a quite outlook of wat im in now:
1) FOC main comm. (as it gets closer n closer to FOC 09, we've got more meetings n more canvassing to do)

2) IHG Softball trngs
Finals is coming so we're trng more intensively now.

3)JCRC Hon.Gen. by-election
Voting day is nx thur n im not done wif my campaigning yet!

4)Nat. trngs
After a mnth break, trngs r starting again n increasing at an alarming rate! (2/wk for nw, 3/wk after cny and 4/wk starting frm march :S)

5)Club trngs
Currently we're playing the U21 tournament and trngs r nt so bad- once per wk. Im the captain which means i cant skip trng! And our quarters in nx wk!!

After U21 ends, another competition Premier League is starting n im in the team too! More trngs to come...

Sign... and if im elected as the hon. gen. i will hav more meetings to attend as well!
Looking at the situation now, i've gotta give up on smth if i win the election.
And yet i dun wana quit any of it!

But still, if im elected, i gotta be responsible and stop smth so tt i will hav time for the hall stuffs and i hav decided to stop my nat. trngs if i win.
Hard decision but after much consideration, i think tts e best way because nat. trngs really takes up alot of time and energy.
National team will always be there, so i guess i will just leave it there aside for awhile first..

Really hope that i would win the election and i want to! Wish me luck ;)

ok i jus watched death note (lyk finally n yes i know im slow lol) n though its nt real-obvioulsy, i could sense how vulnerable life is. In the show its jus a simple act of writing e name down on e notebook n within e nx 40secs EEK ur life is gone!
N i got to know tt one of my frend's dad oso passed away recently due to heart attack. it was so sudden n unexpected coz her dad has no heart attack history n is very healthy. This reminded me to treasure each n everyday of my life for who knows when my life might jus come to a full-stop suddenly.
SO, im gonna thank my parents here now! thank u for all ur time, hardwork n sweat tt u all had sacrificed to raise me up. n for tolerating wif all my nonsense n tantrums as well heheh thanks soooooo much! I love u mum n dad!! :D

im oso very grateful n thankful for having such a wonderful brother who has taught me soooo many things tt i cant possibly name it all here. helping me wif all my assignments since young, playing wif me n e many wonderful gifts tt i probably stilll wont hav them nw if its nt for u. i love u gor gor!! :D

i oso wana thank my sis-in-law for teaching me alot of stuffs too (Esp when it comes to certain girls things tt my bro wont be of much help lol) n for cooking nice delicious korean dishes for me to eat. n all thanks to u i got the chance to go to korea n tour for 15days during the wedding tt yr hahah :D i love u sayonee!!

n juny my one n only nephew i love u too!! thanks for keeping me occupied during holis lol :D

i love my sn gd frends(hy jade mel mina syl yiminn many more)! thanks for all the wonderful memories. life in sn(n oso after tt) will be so diff if i had not known u all :D

i love my vj hockey team mates! we hav been thru sooo much together!! really thru sweat, tears n blood ahahha n it all paid off in e end yea! WE R THE CHAMPS :D

n now, i luv all my blk mates n hallmates-too many to be name! hahahah thanks for making me life in hall full of laughter n joy!! :D

LOVE is in the air

WOAH. after exams im seriously really getting a LIFE hahaha wif lotsa n lotsa of trainings n meetings line up for me. but training still make up the most of it lol.. One of the days started off wif friendly hockey game wif my sn juniors from 10-12noon. then 1pm FOC main meeting at raffles city til 5pm n u21 hockey training again frm 630-9pm. 11pm onwards online movie HAHAH at first it was really exhausting but it was great working it all out (after all the *#&$%@# late nite snacking n nt exercising AT ALL during exams time)
N another day was lyk softball training frm 9-1230noon, 230-430pm hall hockey trng n 630-9pm u21 trng again. (i wonder how i survived TT now ahahha)
luckily triple trainings happened only a few times. other than that it was mostly double trainings, sometimes single AND lotsa of bbqs! last wk itself i had lyk 3bbqs?? within ONE WK!! (hmmm n there goes my trngs lol) To sum it all (like since after exams), there's u21 trngs basically every nite-rain or not, softball trngs twice/thrice a wk n hall hockey trngs once a wk wif meetings n parties n bbqs in btw :D busy but i think its an experience!

N this coming thur im going to kL wif my sn gfs! WHeee!!! so exciting!!! hahha its been quite some time since we last met n its time to do some catching up :) n we've 4 days to do so :))) looking forward to e trip! YAY!

YAY!! Exams is finally over! :))) hahah though during exams period i hav this feeling tt i wont enjoy my holis very much coz i got this feeling tt i wont do well for my papers n might even 'dabao' a few modules too, serioulsy after exams ar, I HECK CARE already!! HAHAH happily enjoying my life now WHeE!



N YAY!! my dad finally allow me to drive to sch by myself n even go to town wif frends! Happy happy :D its lyk the FIRST time he ever allowed me to drive his precious car to sch alone n frm sch to town lOl. n having a car in sch is really convenient, can go anywhere as n when i lyk n most imptly, im nt restricted to jus my hall canteen fd! (which seriously gets worst as time goes by lol)



yesterday i had my last paper, electronics n surprisingly (thank God) it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. Infact, it was even betta than some of my other papers! Ahahha e nite b4 i was so stress tt i couldnt sleep well n was still busy clearing enquiries at lyk 3am in e morning n my paper is at 9am! But after tt i was as happy as a lark :D not jus coz exams was over but coz i got a car to drive outta campus n celebrate!!

It was my first time driving to exam hall yesterday too n i dun think i would eva wan to do tt again. e parking fee is scary man!! i parked at the carpark near ny audi there, it says 1buck per hr. my exam was 2n half hr plus buffer time. so by the time i came out, 'Beep' n 3bucks gone! lol should hav jus board the shuttle bus.



N its was only til yesterday tt i realised how *&%$#@ expenisve it is to park a car in town! Ahahah apri, lauren, ray, tianlai n i went to town yesterday evening to watch movie n hav dinner together. Ok b4 we even hit town, i was lost already HAHAH. i missed the stevens rd exit when we were on PIE. Luckily we managed to exit the highway at nicoll highway there phew.. so in e end i went by suntec, raffles city n ps there b4 i reach town finally :) n parked the car at ngee ann city.

Then we went to cine for dinner at Esteler, watch the quantum of solace( which was jus action frm start right up to e end lOl) n took a few photos along orchard rd b4 heading to selegie rd there to eat the famous rochor beancurd :D it was really nice! Oh n we met xiaoyuan at heeren too n FRANKIE!! LOL he was all over orchard :X Ahahha

When we finally left the carpark, i expected the parking fee to be lyk 3 or at most 4bucks (coz my dad told me frm 5pm onwards they charge based on per entry but apparantly its not!) 'Beep' n the FREAKING parking fees was $5.70!! for lyk 3hrs plus only. almost same price as my movie tix! I think the carpark earns more than most shops in taka la. one car 6bucks. 100cars $600!! nice ez $$$ yea lol

OH then on our way back to hall rite, omgosh i beat a red light UNKNOWINGLY :S i din realised tt e traffic light turn to red already (at the T junction infront of istana there) n kept stepping on the accelerator UNTIL my frend told me tt it was red already! i was still thinking y the cars beside me stopped HAHA wah luckily the cars at the other junction haven move off yet phew!

N further up abit i din know tt the junction infront of suntec there is left turn only n wanted to keep going strght! Luckily apri warn me jus in time for me to hurry steer to the left :O
well, at least Now i know the way betta lOl..

WheeE!! holiday's finally here :D got activities all lined up for me already :) going for parties, msia trip wif my sec sch gfs (so eXciTIng!), msia wif family, canvassing, meetings n trngs n competitions. gonna be a busy 4wks break! (n after tt back to reality again :( )
oh well, thats still farr away. enjoy first! :D

yesterday was my one n only brother's 30TH birthday! ahahah he's sure getting oldd... but still look gd! lOl.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY gor gor!!! :)))
n we had a special family dinner together yesterday. it was niceee :D
Not e usual crystal jade or imperial treasure restaurant but my brother actually wanted to eat home-cooked foood!!! (which seriously, neither him nor me had eaten for a gazillion yrs!)
my mum stopped cooking since she started working a few yrs back n yesterday was really a walk down memory lane :D the gd old steam egg wif minced meat, vege wif mushrooms, fried minced pork wif prawn ball in sweet n spicy sauce, steam fish n of course the soup!!!

It was nice to eat mum's home cooked food again (though i could still remember the times when i was young, i got soo tired of eating home-cooked everyday tt i looked forward to eating in coffee shop lOL) n im really happy n thankful tt i hav e nice mummy tt goes all out for her kids! :D
when i told her tt gor gor wanted to eat home-cooked fd, i suggested tt she jus whipped a few of his fav dishes lyk e steam egg n soup. then e rest jus buy back frm outside (coz i know tt she's busy wif her work n having to take care of my nephew too). In the end, she cooked SIX DISHES plus a SOUP! lyk within 2hrs coz she only got back frm work at 5pm. then after eating, my bro, sis-in-law n baby went home n i tagged along too coz im going back to hall, n my poor mum is left all alone to cleaned up the mess (wah sian..) n she told me tt by e time she finished cleaning, bathing n all it was 1am plus already! :S THANKS MUM! ure da BEST :D
n my dad too! Thanks for sending bro n me back to our places -though he was coughing n having a slight fever :S n after he dropped me off he hafta drive e 4o-mins long journey back home by himself :( THANKS DADD!!! :D
