only had abt 4hrs of sleep yesterday b4 i hafta dragged myself up to go to work. think the same thing will happen again tonite coz im still awake now n im working the AM shift tml again. which means i hafta get up at 540am again :S i wish i could slepp earlier but my body kinda got used to sleeping at 2, 3am coz tts e usual sleeping time when im in hall haha. anw i think i'll hav a betta sleep tonite coz im quite tired today. had a loong day-work in e morning, then went to suntec in e afternoon wif denise to eat e swensen 1-for-1 ice-cream, met lorraine n went to visit jane at B&J, left a note for coach there HAha after tt we went to carrefour to grab some sushi n gobble down along the way back to cityhall b4 rushing off to ccab for training. had some 'luck' n met our hockey conveyor/manager at e bus stop outside newton mrt station, then got reprimanded for being late for trng w/o a valid reason ( she was late coz she got work b4 tt, we were late coz we went to eat swensen ice-cream! lOl)

will hav a good sleep tonite (i hope!) since im tired. tml morning still got work then after tt going to support the premier girls at delta for their semis :D All da best yea! Play hard n win it!!!

Ok basically the title of my post today means 'my french test today is BAD'n i mean it. there are lyk 2 sections to it, one listening compre n the other one is fill in the blanks-adj, verbes, preposition etc. e listening compre one suck. the moment the tape started playing they began to speak lyk bullet train la. could hardly catch wat they are saying, only managed to fill in abt half the blanks in tt qs only sign*. oh well anw its over, at least i did not bad for my first test (22/30) :) i think it would help. abit at least.

Met up with qi today in sch for lunch. had a meeting this morning with my french classmates reagrding a presentation tt we're supposed to present nx wk(but we all end up studying for e test lol) n plan to hav lunch together b4 going for class at 130pm. but i know tt qi is in ntu for some 4-day pre-U seminar thing so we jus met up for a quick but nice lunch at canA haha she had to sneak out of her seminar la coz by right they're not allowed to break away frm their grp! oh well she still did it anw HAH

after tt went for french class, i rush thru e test n hurry zao to go meet tiff in cityhall. supposed to hav dinner together there first b4 going for a concert but din really hav alot of time. so we jus went straight to e venue(SBC) n ate at e fd centre around there (adam fd centre) instead. met up wif my parents b4 going to e concert together. by the time we went into the concert hall, we're half an hr late :S left only abt an hr more. though it was short it was good! the choir frm america can really sing WELL! n their handbell ensemble rox too la!! i even bought one of their cds after e concert(there goes my last $20dollars in my wallet!)

tml morning still gt work sign* must reach ap by 645am somemore coz kena morning shift. which means i hafta leave my house by 615am n wake up at 530am! then after work going to cityhall to meet my junior to eat the 1-for-1 sundae ice-cream treat by swensen :D shop abit n eat dinner b4 heading down to ccab for trng. ok shall go sleep soon *yawn.

Went to help out in my church annual bible camp for kids today. was in-charge of telling e story abt these 3 animals (dog, pig n elephant) who helped a bear fixed his house n then suddenly the images of broken homes in wen chuan (e worst hit area in the China earthquake) flashed across my mind. we are really indeed very VERY lucky tt we r safe here in spore. no quakes, no typhoons, no cyclones, no volcano eruptions, no risk of getting caught in a big flood if a water dam breaks blah blah. Now im really worried for China coz of the damaged dam tts gonna giv way anytime. i cannot imagined the consequences if it did-one hit after another, can they take it?? i'll be praying for them esp those who hav lost their loved ones in this tragic disaster.

And this reminds me of the charity show (e one on sun nite) tt mediacorp came out wif to help raise funds for the ppl of wen chuan. it din hav anything lyk e usual stunts, jus pure touching songs sung by e artistes n heart-wrenching videos abt the situation in wen chuan now. its was so sad tt i cried, lyk really cry n not jus teared esp e part when they tell the story of this noble mum. When she was found by one of the rescuers, she was in this awkward kneeling sort of position(she was dead by tt time) n they were wondering y she was in tt position. then they found tt her baby is actually rite beneath her, safe n sound sleeping n inside the cloth wrapped around e baby they found her hp wif this msg typed out(in chinese of course): "If you're still alive my child, remember that i always love you..." Awwwe... its so sweet n sad la. the baby is really lucky to hav her as his mummy. this makes me treasure the peaceful life n complete family i hav now n not take it for granted or regret it only after i lose it, lyk tt in the show 'P.S i love you'. Oh yes i jus watched the movie n it's really nice n touching. will rate it 7.5 or 8 out of 10 :) should go catch it if u haven (can borrow frm me the dvd if u wan haha)

Working in the transit terminal is quite nice actually lol. of course beside travelling time n all e procedures tt we mus go thru b4 we're allowed inside, other than tt i quite lyk working there! The other day when i was working smth quite funny happened. coz when staffs buy food or things inside there, we get staff discount. then i went to this choc shop to get kit kats. at e counter e aunty(cashier) asked me, "u staff ar?" n she kept trying to hav a gd look at e pass im wearing. so i happily said yes n even tried to make my pass more obvious to her as i was jus thinking abt the discount thing. the nx thing e aunty told me was "Staff rite, got tax ar." n then she add in the tax to the price of the choc >_< haiya, i thought was dutyfree(if we buy cosmetics/perfume but strictly no cigarettes n alchols, we pay the dutyfree price) but i din know choc not included :( hmph! t next time i go buy i'll make sure i remove my pass first lOl.
Oh! n my frend (who used to work as police in ap, those patrolling one) told me tt there's skytrain inside the transit terminal as well YAYEE!! haha i neva knew tt, all e while i thought skytrains were only available outside the transit area. wheee so e nx time i go to work, i can roam around e 3terminals instead of jus t1 during my break. hav always wanted to check out how the insde of t3 transit terminal looks like n now i can! :D

Ok, hafta go revise my french now-got another test coming up this thur n i haven studied yet :S plus i missed e lesson. willl really need to buck up! i can do it!!

Ok the past few days were HECTIC man! maybe its caused of my work but anw, yea e past few days were really tiring for me, starting frm wed.

B4 that, im supposed to have a make up french class on tue afternoon(coz mon was public holi) and i TOTALLY forgot abt tt :S which means im 3lessons behind the rest! die.. n for french all the lessons r very intensive one, so if i miss one class, i will really hafta mugggg real hard, on my own some more, to catch up with the rest. To make things worst, this coming thur is my second french test already! >_<"

Then on wed, i went to crash the afternoon french class so tt i dun hafta go for the one on thu haha. after tt ryan gave me a ride back to amk (which im very thankful for, save me a one half hr trip :D) went home, bath, hav dinner and im off to jean's place for a slumber party! (Thanks jean for hosting us n laying out nice mattress for us in ur small but cozy rm :D) WOOHOO! The party was fun but quite tiring oso lol. we had durians then watch friends on cable tv while waiting for the champions league finals to start N YESSS!!! those who watch e game will know tt its an EGGciting N loOong game wif surprises here n there hahahah. First a goal by man U ronaldo then an equalizer shortly after tt by chelsea lampard, followed by extra time (30mins!) then drogba got a red card n then Penalties shoot out!!! first ronaldo missed, then we all thought man U lost already coz terry is taking the final as well as the winning goal kick. then he kicked to the right while e keeper dive to the left n e ball HIT THE POLE!!! its lyk OMGOSHHHHH!!!! Hahah suddenly we were all lyk damn awake la-seriously i was realllly sleepy during the extra time already lol. And then during the second round of penalty shootout, man U finally won chelsea by the golden goal / sudden death. WHEEE!! haha though i dun really support any side im jus happy tt e game had finally ended.

And after tt actually we wanted to wait til 8 am for the live telecast of american idol final showdown btw e 2 'Davids' but all of us were jus too tired already after lasting thru the nite n so we head to jean's rm to sleep while her parents n sis are all getting ready to go for work n sch lOL.

N Then in e rm, Di kept playing wif her camera n all the 'teep teep teep' is irritatin me! haha coz i really wanted to sleep n so r e rest! lOl so in e end i threated to confiscate her cam. n then she stopped. had abt 4hrs of sleep only when my hp started ringing ("toot toot, hello motto...") arghhhh.. coz it was a day b4 my work start n e supervisor got alot of things to confirm so she kept calling me in the morning! even the rest were awaken by my hp ringtone as well as my dialogues wif the supervisior haha(sorry guys!)

We finally woke up at around 1230pm, got ready n we left for yet another finals-A'div nationals hockey finals at delta. went 'support' our juniors. it was VJC vs SAJC for e girls n RJC vs SAJC for e guys team. Vj won 1-0, phew n yay!!! haha n Rj won SA 1-0 too (phew too!!! for e rj guys tt is lol) Actually e SA guys put up a really good fight against the unbeatables dunno how many yrs defending champs rj la but hard luck, rj still score one goal in e 2nd half. they tried to fight back but jus could not convert all the shots into goals haiya.. oh well Rj is really lucky tt they still managed to keep the title this yr!

On fri morning, i had my first day of work in the ap. it was quite confusing at first coz of all e rules n regulations tt one mus abide when working in the transit terminal. n to add on, i wore heels to work plus i gotta stand frm 7am to 6pm! wif 1hr break in btw only. my ankles almost died la. so during e hr break, i literally jus go buy my lunch n sat at e same place for e whole hr lol too lazy to move around.

After work, i rush off for trng some more so my feet suffered quite abit on fri hahah.
Then on sat noon time, i met up wif geraldine pw tiff n corine @ spore expo for a las min FOC meeting n seriously speaking, i couldnt really really 'concn' thruout e meeting coz i kept thinking abt all sales tt were going on tt day! Hahaha got ADDIDAS sales, popular bookstore sale, robinsons sale, shoe apparel sale n food fair theere! lucky we finish e meeting early so i still got time to check out the addidas sale b4 my work at 3pm-only got time for one :( but anw i bought a dri-fit running top frm there, $19 -usual price is $70.30. it may soundslyk ive save quite abit but actually i felt tt its not really worth it coz the design quite simple. Anw i still bought it in e end lOl.

Rush to work after tt. was running late already when things cork up again e police post there where we hafta go to get our pass argh.. n finally i reached my work place at 320pm. 2omins late :S (they're quite strict abt punctuality).
supposed to end work at 11pm, but we started packing up n stock check at 104opmn when we're finally done wif all the checking of stocks n returning of pass blah blah its was 1120pm already la. missed e last train already n we're not allowed to claim transport fee. i took a bus back to hougang in e end n it took me one hr plus long! so by e time i reach bus interchange lyk at 1245pm-i still need to change a loop bus back home, e last bus pass long ago already! (1215pm)
haiya... so in e end, i took a 20mins walk back home frm e interchange after, only to see my mum waiting for me anxiously at around 110am outside e house along e corridor there (awww.. thanks mum!) its sure nice to see tt someone is waiting for me :) after i reach home, i jus go bath dry my hard n Zzzz.

Had a hard time trying to keep myself awake this morning for the church service as well as sun class after tt lOl but in e end i din fall alseep at all :) ok la maybe for a few secs haha. then after tt went to tiong bahru market wif my mum for lunch b4 heading to my bro's place. stayed there til 9plus, had dinner at great world b4 finally heading home.

Hmph! its 2plus in e morning already. ok shall go sleep now.. really tired n tml got french class again. haiya. ok gd nite peeps!

Hmm jus went for the briefing today at ap t2 abt the work tt im gonna do, starting this fri for 10days. hahah its basically a mini GSS in the transit terminal where there'll be many booths promoting diff products. im under apple :) so its ipods n all.

We r supposed to meet at e place at 145pm. the 6 of us were all there by 2pm already n we waited n waited n waited but no one came to meet us so we gave e person incharge a call at around 3pm. then he said he'll get back to us n its only til past 330pm then he got back to us n get e facts rite. he gave us the wrong venue!!! agrrr... make us wait there for 2hrs! then when we finally went to e correct place, e briefing was already going on n so we hafta wait til tt is over first b4 they start another briefing. when evrything was done FINALLY(e briefing is only abt 45mins long), it was 5PM!! we could hav ended evrything by 3pm if they told us e correct venue grrrr....

Anw working inside e ap transit terminal may sound fun but it got ALOT of rules to follow coz its within e restricted area n they r very strict abt it! lyk u r not to loiter around e area, pass mus be worn all e time, once u knock off u mus leave e place within 30mins including e packing up time, no buying of duty free products etc. AND everytime b4 we start work, we mus go to the police post at basement to xchange our IC/passport for the pass first b4 we can enter the transit terminal :S

Hahaha but i still hope e work will be fun! afterall, it not everytime u get to work inside e restricted area n hav ppl frm diff countries around e world as ur customers. lol maybe i get to put my french to gd use too :)

Then after tt, i took a bus to cityhall to go to src n work out. drop by max brenner in esplanade b4 tt to visit jean n had a nice cup of hot chocolate drink there made by her. It was good n i luv the froth especially! hahah so while i was sipping away there near e counter, i kept asking jean to refill the froth in my cup! lOl in total i refil it 4times i think. anw, after tt i asked for bill then jean said paid already. she paid for me!!! hahahaha so niceee of her :D wanted to pay her back but she dun wan to accept. Thanks JEAN! owe u one ;P n im looking forward to e slumber party later at who knows where later!

Ok shall go sleep now. gonna crash e wed french class later coz its my juniors' finals this thur @ delta n i wana go support them. plus i think i used up most of brain cells jus now while trying to come out with e 10-day work schedule for e 6 of us working in ap. this one can, tt one cannot, not free here, cannot work there. Yesterday after trng, i rushed back home as i got an 'online' meeting with my hallmates at 1155pm regarding the finalisation of the details of all the games to be played during this year FOC's amazing race n beach games. Jus made it in time for the meeting but apparently, its not very effective as by around 1am, 2 ppl went offline already. left only 3 of us how to discuss? PLus i was very tired frm the trng already so i think i sound abit pissed online(sorry pw n geraldine! not on purpose one heh :)) Heng i've guessed tt online discussion will not work out so i've plan another meeting today n this time, we MET up n discuss on the spot n get it done once n for all. n it's done YAY! haha it was quite funny actually. we met up at 5pm at cityhall n went to starbucks to discuss first. 3 of them ordered a drink n by 6pm, they finished the drinks already n tiff gotta leave first. then i was hungry but e other 2 were not as they jus finished a cup of coffee! so we changed location n went to subway where i ate my dinner. i tried to eat as slowly as possible so tt we can sit there n discuss longer haha but when im finally done, we felt back to continue to sit there as there were ppl w e fd in their hand waiting for seats. So we finally stood up n leave. then e other 2 were hungry, so we started walking around to look for another place to eat but e condition is tt, it MUST hav tables n chairs for us to sit down so tt we can note down our discussions n after circling the whole of rafflescity B1, we finally settled down in subway again coz they wana eat tt lOl. then after they're done eating, we felt bad to 'occupy' the seats there n we start to 'migrate' again lyk some nomads haha. we went to MOS in e end as they wanted to drink the ice milk tea n finally, we come to an end of our discussion there @ around 915pm :)

Head strght back home after tt as i was already very tired frm helping out in e SRC 4-aside hockey carnival today b4 i went for e meeting. N i only had 4hrs of sleep e nite b4 coz e online discussion was until abt 2am n i hafta wake at 6am again as i hafta reach src by 730am to set up the booth. We sold t-shirts n drinks today n im proud to say the total earnings for these items were $514 and $700+ respectively :) though the money dun go to us but at least it goes to our hockey section fund which is lyk = to us too lol. n i think wanting n i must be outta of our mind today to wana sit under e sun instead of the tentage to sell e drinks n shirts when evryone else is trying to squeeze into e little shade provided by e tent coz the sun was freaking HOT today! haha wt n i jus apply a coat of sunblock, move our chairs out under e sun, sit there n start chatting! lOl we wanted to tan ourselves only as we haven been under e sun for quite some time besides during e wkend games. trngs r usually in e nite. but apparently we got morre than jus a tan-we got sunburn too! n i look lyk red turkey now. those who know me will know tt when im red, im REALLY RED haha oh well, anw its been a loOng time since i actually hav sunburn already so i dun really mind :) shall jus look forward for it to start peeling!

Ok, i jus had my first french test today n thank God its quite ok :) phew! hahah though i know i made a few mistakes already but overall e paper is not too bad. then tere was this qs where they show a series of pictures n ure required to come out with a story line. i think e tutor is gonna laugh his head off when he mark our papers tonite! haha we all wrote damn stupid stuffs la due to our super limited vocab n french words tt we know. one guy even asked the tutor "Eh excuse me, e friend of e girl in e last picture, izzit a guy or a girl?" when it shows a person with pony tails! lol. was given one half hr to do it but finish it in less than one hr hehe then after tt chiong off to meet my vj hockey frends already!

hahah then i took e train to town with 2 of e guys frm my french class. we chatted along the way n we realised tt all 3 of us had appiled to be rsaf pilots! n all got rejected too!! lOl. wat a coincidence.. but one guy was very close to becoming one already but he broke his leg jus before he was scheduled to go australia for trng :S wasted sia! oh well, life is always full of surprises.

Anw, met jean n baby in town after class for dinner. went to eat at bochak(if im not wrong abt e name HAH) beside cahaya in far east. Miss e fd there! had been a loOong time since i went there n eat already n i think tat's e only place in orchard tt sells cheap nice fd! last time back in vj, we'll always go there n eat after our trngs or games n tok cork after tt b4 heading back home, *sign, miss those times man. then we went shopping abit b4 xunai came n join us. after tt, we went to catch e 915pm show ''made of honour'' at lido n seriously, e movie is not bad! haha it was slightly betta than i thought it would be n its quite sweet actually :)

Then this afternoon, i went to the chrysler test-drive wif my dad n mum as it was kind of disappointing. not jus becoz e test-drive last for abt 5mins long only(or even shorter) but coz the CAR itself is really, nth special. in fact i find it abit too big-even my dad finds it hard to manouvre it around haha. maybe i held too high hope for e car such tt when its wasnt wat i've expected it to be, im devasted. all e while i expect e interior to be smth lyk tt of a rolls-royce since e exterior design is quite similar but apparently its not. n though it looks Big frm outside, the inside is abt e same as e present car tt my dad is driving now. E only thing i find nice abt e car are the seats. e leather r really soft n nice to sit on! hahah n tts pretty much abt it.

After tat i went ot SRC for a work out n today's one was not too bad :) but subsequently after tt, i sort of 'refill' all tt ive burn by eating fried chicken for dinner :(
wanted to go again tml but i got my first french test this thur so tml shall be a 'stay-at-home' day! i shall stay at home to muggg n do hw. its abt time my brain starts working with some intensity le HAH!

I find the reading material from today's Daily Bread very meaningful. It was abt this grp of ppl studying the life of an eagle n its family. to do that, they installed a camera somewhere near the nest to observe what the eagles will do after their eggs r hatched. Soon after, the eggs hatched. Mama n Papa eagle were very attentive to their offspring, taking turns to hunt for food n guard the nest. but one day, e ppl realised tt e mama n papa eagle disappeared as they were not captured on screen by the camera. The nest of eaglets were left there by themselves alone n e ppl were worried tt smth bad will happen to them. their concern was soon unfolded when the cam. operator enlarged the camera angle n the mama eagle was seen perching on a nearby branch.

This reminded me of the many times when i feared tt God had abandoned me, especially in those times of trials where i felt lyk i was all alone in a dark n cold trench. and thinking back now, seriously, i had come a loOng way as all my academic yrs particularly those spent in st nicks havent been easy for me.shall not elaborate on tt. im glad tt was history already but most impt of all, as i looked back now, i realised tt God certainly has not deserted me nor ever left me all these yrs. Very often im lyk one of those ppl studying the eagles, with a restricted view such tt i missed Him out, who has always been in the picture. e one who had n is n will always be there for me.

i think i should learn (n you too!) to reframe the picture n view life n its problems frm a larger angle rather than to concentrate on some things only(as many of us often do in times of trial). maybe then i will come to realise n learn to appreciate all those ppl who r there for me always. jus tt i left them out of the picture by zooming in on certain things.

today passed rather quickly haha. nth unusual or special happen.woke up.brush.wash.change.approx.2hrs journey to sch for french class.starts at 130pm.ends at 6pm.parents came n pick me up.ate dinner at golden spoon. reach home at around 9pm.watch tv.bath.supper.tv.surf the net. and very soon i'll be off to sleep already lol.

Anw im eGGcited abt tml! haha coz my dad is thinking of changing his current mercz. E-class to chrysler 300C!! haha n tml, he's bringing me along for the test-drive WHEE!!! lol and in case u all thought tt my dad strike a lottery n plan to rob my house soon, well NO. ahahah its more lyk my dad wants to return e mercz cab to comfort n apply for a chrysler which smrt will release soon! but its not ez man! got a few interviews to go n knowing my dad who is not good in his words, i highly doubt tt he can get it lol. ok i was there when he was being interviewed n this is one of his ans to a qs.
Woman: "Mr Lim, can u tell me why do u wan to drive a chrysler?"
My dad: "Erm.. cause i find the car very unique. very special la. different frm mercedes."
Woman:"Ok.. besides that, is there any other reason?"
Dad: "Eh.. no la. jus find the car very nice n special."

Dad! there're thousands of applicants for the new chrysler n there're only 100cars. plus 50cars are already reserved for their own smrt drivers, which means there r only 50 up for grab for outside drivers! is tt e best ans u can come out with?!? i mean lyk u could hav say smth nicer to please their ears rite lyk 'Oh i want a bigger n better car to serve my passengers better' or smth lyk tt(even though u may not mean it HAH) oh well, anw its over already. shall leave it to God to decide if He wants my dad to have e car or not lol

Just watch Jack neo latest movie Ah Long pte ltd with my parents last night at home. its quite funny haha n its definitely betta than the jus follow law(which i think is complete crap)! Anw was late for church this morning. supposed to be there at 8am to pract. e songs first but i reach at around 830 instead :S so only left abt 20mins to pract. but thanks to God's blessings everything went well n smooth today :D

In the afternoon, my mum n i went to tiong bahru market for lunch(missed the food there!) before going to my bro's place to visit my nephew 'Bui bui'. after tt we went to attend the SBC 55th batch graduationg ceremony in ntu nanyang audi n i met jean there! haha spore is so small la. i was bz eating the buffet after e ceremony ended when i saw this super familiar looking girl standing in the midst of the big crowd then it hit me instantly JEAN!!!! LOL we started tokking n asking each other lyk oh wat u doing here, how come ure here blah blah blah while i munch my fd away ahah. but we din get to tok for long coz she's leaving with her family already while i gotta go take grp pic with e 3grad. frm my church.

And actually lyk NOW, im supposed to meet my vj hockey animals in simpang bedok to eat supper n watch the manU match together one but was too tired n lazy to go all da way to bedok (sorry guys! e whale is too tired to swim to simpang haha) plus after tt they intend to jus chill out at some place n tok thru the nite til tml morning since there's no train or bus back home already after the game ends. then tml afternoon i got french class again. so i was thinking if i go join them n last thru e nite then go for class after tt, i'll confirm Zzz in class lol. this thur got exam somemore so must concentrate during lesson tml! tokking abt tt i think i betta go sleep coz hafta wake up early tml again *sign. oh well, bye peeps!

The earth-specifically singapore is very veRY small.jus went to visit jean yesterday at her workplace in esplanade n coincidentally i met angeline along the way! n conincidentally she jus ate at the place where jean is working(max brenner CHOC. bar-its so her!) N coincidentally too jean served her. Wah nth can be more coincidental than these. haha n jean, if u happen to see this n ure wondering how did my frend know tt it was u, its all thanks to ur super obvious dimple n ur sweet-looking face HAH! (i dun think e other girls who r working wif u there got dimples lyk urs rite? lOl)

Anw, had my church band pract. today n it feels abit weird. i dunno how to put it across in words, its jus feel different frm e other practices we had. u know tt smth is not rite.lyk either some of us r too tired or not 'fire up' enuff. e only one tt seems normal there is prob the teacher cum pastor haha. haiya i dunno wat m i saying la. maybe its coz of the keychain making session b4 tt, which drain up most of brain n concentration power. seriously, to use beads n i mean TINY ones to make keychain is not an easy feat! shall perserve on all in the name of fund-raising. n the phrase "3 cross cut 2cross cut 2cross cut cut 1 cross" is stuck in my head now coz ive been repeating tt to myself half the afternoon today.

And i felt pretty unlucky the past wk too. down wif flue so gotta skip chalet. n got big big pasir malam below my house there-i cannot eat all the junk but nice fd(Ramily burger!!!). then both my hands got cut at e same spot by (ok this is gonna sound real dumb) plastic container n donut BOX! i cannot believe it. a harmless looking light paper box can actually cut my hand! make me feel so senile. even my mum oso say "haiyo! how come wash container can oso cut ur hand!". n to add on, i dunno y i keep getting hit by stick n balls during trngs n games. its either e stick n ball r too fast moving or i siam too wols. n its not lyk coz i din wear shin guard or anythg but tt it always hit me at the places where its not protected particulary my knees. e blueblack on my left knee is almost gone already n jus yesterday during trng, i got another one on my right. hmph! i hope tt all these can stop soon coz i still wan my legs to be in gd condition LOL

Oh n this morning, i had e earliest breakfast i eva had wif my mum at e ap today (at 6plus in the e morning!) coz my sis-in-law mum is going back to korea today n she took a morning flight so hadta go send her. n there at t3 i saw e SIA pilots in their dashing uniform so cOOL la! i hope i'll be able to wear them someday n fulfil my dream of being a pilot! n e air stewardess look really gOOd in their kebaya too! hmm if i cannot be e one in the cockpit i shall try to be e one in the cabin then! HAHA

shall go sleep now. woke up damn early today n had to be in church early tml too. nite!

Today is the actual mother's day for koreans (spore celebrate this day later). so to my sis-in-law mum: Happy Mother's Day! haha n to celebrate this day, we had a family dinner jus now at crystal jade. felt really happy jus now during the family dinner :D nt jus coz it was a sumptuous 8course meal but more coz my WHOLE family is there. din hav a family dinner for quite sometime already(those of u who get to eat together everyday be thankful n treasure it!).
And i realised very often, ppl dun seem to treasure wat they hav until they lost it. tok abt simple things such as sitting down together n hav a meal together to home-cooked fd etc, it reminded me of my past.i realised i used to hav all tt too n i remembered i used to complain abt it too! (i wonder y i did tt now lol) take home-cooked fd for example, my mum used to cook everyday except sun-which we'll eat out. n very often i looked forward to sun n even asked my mum nt to cook so often so tt we can eat out more. When she cooked, she used to ask me 'so which type of soup do u wan today?' n i remembered tt she cooked so often tt i din know wat to choose already haha. thinking back now, i wish for those days again man. n this reminded me of smth tt shumin always say when she was still in hall. we used to ask her to eat dinner together on fri nite n she would say 'no cannot, my mama is cooking tonite. nth taste betta than home-cooked food!' n she's damn right. after eating out for so many yrs, home cooked fd is serioulsy still e best (plus its healthier too!) n i really REAlly missed the fd cooked by my mum!
Mummy: if u ever EVER get to see this(which i highly doubt so), pls cook a nice meal for me one of these days ok? thanks!
ok enuff abt fd, starting to feel abit hungry le haha. anw i had my 2nd french class today n the teacher is sick! so he got another man to stand in for him for today n it turns out this subst. teacher is SO much more interesting n funny than him! hmmm.. i wish tt e subst teacher is my actual french tutor man. either tt or my current tutor, pls continue to be sick (Oops! :X HAHA)
Oh n i jus watch alvin n the chipmunks online. E chipmunks r soOo adorable! haha luv therdore!!(if i din spell its name wrongly lol) She or izzit a 'he', haiya ok, IT is so sweEet la! haha ok shall go Zzz soon. still need to get ready for my church's band pract. on sat tml b4 going for trng at ccab in e nite! nite peeps :)

Hmph! i cannot believe it i skipped the swimming part again for today's workout. tats 2 days in a row. *sign. i was so sure im gonna swim today tt i wore my swimsuit to src frm home! oh well, maybe coz i work harder in gym today tt i was too lazy to hit e pool after tt. today other than e usual exercises, i tried the 'rowing' machine where i do stationary rowing. ok i know tt sounds abit dumb but it works pretty well to train my back up lol. then after everything is done,i din wan to wear my swimsuit for nth so i decided to take a dip in the hot jacuzzi pool first b4 showering. i went inside e hot pool rm n then i stuck my hand into e water to test e hotness of it n IT WAS FREAKING HOT. then i saw e thermometer at e side n it says 41.6deg. cel!! tts almost half boiling! gosh. i couldnt even put my hand in it for more than 5secs. dun even need to tok abt taking a dip. head straight to e shower after tt lol.
N Angeline reminded me again tt i din paragraph my postings. shall try to keep tt in mind! hahah
anw tml(or more lyk today) is thur which means i hav french class again! surprisingly im looking forward to it :) n im quite thankful tt i took up smth for special sem. at least there's smth to keep my brain working. jus saw a posting on enxin's blog-she said she felt very lost now tt she got no sch. not knowing wat to do, stuck at home e whole day n hav no motivation to study(she got no sch coz she's supposed to prepare for her exams lol) n i think its rather true coz i do feel abit lost now. not knowing wat to do or hw to spend my time beside watching movies going for trngs n more movies.
Oh!! n i got a job already! one more thing to kill time :) actually i tink its e same job i did during last sem break haha coz same company-apple. but nt sure yet coz haven gone for briefing yet. this time will be more exciting i think! lol coz this time is in e ap WHEE i can eat popeye! e last time, they asked us to tend a ipod booth at epicentre @ orchard n juzz 1 in pp. we're supposed to rent ipods to ppl. yes RENT. to ppl for up to 2hrs.. basically its to let them hav a feel of owning one n e best thing is, its free! this time is in ap. so i guessed we'll prolly be renting ipods to transit passengers i guess.
hmm *yawn. shall hit the bed soon. still need to take a 2hr long journey to sch tml sianz. alrite gd nite peeps!

Yay! i plan to go work it out today n i did! haha though i skip the swimming part (tooo lazy lol) but at least i did burn abit off by working out in the gym plus a gd 20mins on the cross-trainer :) hmph! planning to go tml again n this time i will make sure i swim ahaha basically coz it burn the most amt of calories off as compared to other exercises such as jogging n cycling. every move tt we make underwater require 5 times the energy we need to do the same move on land! shall keep tt in mind n hope tt it'll spur me on :D
After working out, i take a shower there n then head down to by bro's palce for dinner AGAIN coz of my dad. dunno wat he thinking n im quite mad at him today. He actually called n told my sis-in-law to get her mum to cook our share(3pax more!) for dinner tonite n when it's nearing dinner time, he called again n ask her to cook earlier coz he got a booking later. THEN-this is the most fuming part- after he sent my mum n i to my bro's place, he said "eh i think nvm la. u all eat. i go outside n eat" *&^%$@#!!! Can u believe it!?! my mum was angry too! firstly he ordered my sis-in-law mum to cook his share then ask her to cook earlier some more coz he got job later n then in the end he din eat at all! She (my sis-in-law mum) is supposed to be our GUEST n yet he ask her to do this n tt. n she knows tt my parents dun really take spicy fd(on the other hand koreans LUV spicy fd) so whenever she knows tt we r coming over for dinner she will purposely cook smth non-spicy to suit our taste. how nice of her la n in e end my dad din eat at all! grrr... u tink ppl fly all da way frm korea to cook for u ar! n after all e cooking n eating, got alot of things to clear up too. so my mum n i wanted to help out but she dun allow us to help her. she kept saying smth in korean n point towards the living rm plus both my mum n i dun really know korean language. so no choice lor we can only go sit in e living rm n wait for my dad to come pick us up.n e scenario in e kitchen suddenly reminded me of this phrase in hokkien which i thought was rather true n funny. they always lyk to say in hokkien(wheneva they cant understand each other) "one chicken one duck, how to communicate?" lol.
but then again, lyk once again, im happy tt i went over my bro's place for dinner haha. though she din cook alot of dishes today, in fact only 2, i luv it coz its home cooked! plus its healthy n nice (maybe tts y korean girls always hav smooth n nice complexion). today she made lyk i think close to 8 rolls of kimbab(if im not wrong its called kimbab) or sushi but the korean way(wif radish, egg, ham, carrot n crabstick as filling) and a nice pot of mushrm fishball soup-smth lyk yong tau foo tt type. though its simple, it's delicious n filling too! haha n coz its so simple n nice to eat, plus its filling n healthy n doesnt make the kitchen very oily, my mum n i hav decided to master the art of making kimbab :) will need to go korean supermarket to do some shopping soon n hope tt e first roll of sushi made by my mum n i will turn out nice! lol

I had my first french lesson today n seriously, it's NOT easy! haha at first i kind of regret taking it but then, there's no turning back already lol. Actually after awhile i realised tt its not tt bad after all :) in fact it's quite interesting! here's a short extract of what i've learnt today(try it! its quite ez HAH)

hahah cool rite?? i got hard time trying to spell all the french pronounciation using english words la. in fact i spend more time trying to think of the words then to remember the meanings of all the french words n its vowels! And today i was super blur la. so maluating. i went to the wrong class unknowingly n happily sat there, trying to make frends wif those around me n listen to the teacher for half an hour b4 i realised tt im in the wrong classrm! supposed to go tr107 but i went to tr108 instead. no wonder the teacher din call my name when she finally took attendance after starting the lesson for half an hr lol. Heng ar she din wait until the end of class! hahaha
Then after the lesson ended at 6pm, my parents came n pick me up b4 heading to my bro's place for dinner. had a super filling delicious aunthentic korean dinner cooked my sis-in-law mum, who is here in spore for a few wks to help her daughter tc of her son when my bro went overseas for work. (in case u dunno, my sis-in-law is a korean :D) im sure gonna miss the food after she return back to korea this sat :( neva had a proper home cooked food for soooooo long coz my mum stop cooking a few yrs back. so basically all my meals now r da bao one sianz. Those of u whose mum do cook, betta enjoy it while u can! dun be lyk me, mei le cai lai hou hui *sign.
ok shall stop tokking abt food. the more i think abt it the more hungry i get haha. n sad to say, my plan to burn all the junk fd i ate during exams failed! even though i go for trngs n play games on wkend im STILL gaining weight! basically coz i hav e habit of eating late nite supper now :S should really force myself to stop soon n not snack so much during the day. hmph! WO XIN DE!!! as for tml, i plan to go to src(the one in cityhall, NOT ntu which many ppl thought so lol) to swim jog n work it out in e gym in the afternoon, hope tt it will help in burning all the junk fd away :) may my plan not fail again!!!

Ok enxin jus commented tt all my previous posts got no paragraphing so i would make sure tt it happen today.Today had been quite a long day for me! i spent almost the whole day in church today. reached there at around 83oam.service starts at 9am but today im teaching in the children sunday school section so i din attend the main service. then it ended at around 1040am, had a short break n went on wif e adult sunday class til around 1210pm. after tt i had lunch wif my mum in sunplaza b4 heading back to church again for a talk abt spiritual warfare by Rev. Lai til 430pm! at first i din want to attend the talk coz i was quite tired n having a rather irritating flu now but in e end, i still went after much persuasion by my mum n im glad i did :) the talk was quite meaningful n interesting haha
Then during the adult sunday class today, pastor Grace asked me a few qs tt really struck me n i thought maybe i will share it here. First, she asked me have i ever wondered wats e purpose of my existence here in this world lyk what m i meant to, wat would i be doing at the moment jus b4 i die n where will i go after my death. the first one hit me hard. Why do i exist??? hmm gd qs. to be honest i still dun hav the ans yet. e only thing tt comes across my mind is tt my mum brought me here into this world. but there r lyk a million n one sperms in her womb b4 she finally conceived me so why me? i think maybe tts why im still alive, God wants me to find tt ans out for myself :)
Anw tml is the start of the special sem. n i will hafta head back to the ulu ntu again for class n guess wat course m i taking? FRENCH language!!! i thought it would be quite useful to learn another language haha but i cannot imagine myself conversing in french after e course. so weird lol. Oh n im supposed to go for my og chalet tml at changi but im down wif sorethroat n flu jus a few days back-which i dunno how coz e weather has been freaking hot for e past few days, so i guess i'll hafta giv it a miss coz i dun wana spread the virus around as they'll be having steamboat for dinner :( oh well, i jus hope tt they'll organize another gathering soon!

Just had my final game for this season coz we r out of the league already :( cannot believe it. we hav a good team but luck is not on our side plus we only got 10 players today instead of 11.lyk today game where we played against e holland club(the dutch r taLL man!) for example, it SO obvious its was legs but the $%*&^@# umpire din blow n then 'puck' its a goal! tried to argue but no pt. referees have e final call. n then after tt for a short corner my junior whack e ball into e goal but it hit the POST!!! can u believe it?!? its lyk one in a million chance tt u'll eva get to hit e post of e goal instead of into e goal itself. n then once when we were defending, e ball bounce up n e player jus whack it regardless of whether anyone is infront of her! when e ball is up in e air n she hit it, of course it will fly n hit someone rite! n yar it sure did. me! lucky i turn my back against her so it hit my back instead. but surprisingly it din hurt much-phew! anw this is consider dnagerous play! n all e referee did is to blow n giv us a free hit. should giv her a card or smth!! agrrr.. or maybe im asking too much but giv her a warning at least! then e final score was 3-2. holland 3 n src 2. damn. we need a win or at least a draw to qualify for semi. so tt concluded us for this season. sadly. n im angry too at e same time coz i know we can win them one! they r not TT awesome plus we din hav our best team today N we had a kayu referee! if only we had our full team im sure we'll be able to beat them. oh well.. its over anw.n beside feeling sad n angry, actually i feel pretty happy n proud of myself today! haha coz i scored e 2 goals today!! one thru short corner sweep n e other a back hit YAY! lol this is probably e only game i played so far tt i actually scored 2 goals coz im usually playing in e defence line. but today dunno y jude decided to put me in midfield during e last 15min or so of e 2nd half. n im glad he did :) was hoping there will be a third goal to draw wif them but din haf e chance n so e final score is 3-2 sign* hmm though we lost but at least we fought back abit. 3-2 sure sound nicer than 3-0! lol anw i tink i betta go sleep soon. tml morning i still hafta go ap to 'welcome' my bro. back frm france n his flight lands at 7am! so my mum say she will wake me up at 530am plus after tt got church service-hope i dun fall asleep during e sermon :S bye peeps!

Yay! finally my own personal blog is created! (i hope it will last though haha) din hav a blog b4 n after visiting all my frends' blogs n tagging them, getting to know how their life is going. i thought why not i hav my own blog too?? it seems quite fun! but again im tt type of person who get bored of smth rather quickly so i doubt it will last lol. im pretty excited abt it NOW though n i really hope tt my blog will last n not die lyk after a few months(or even weeks! HAH) now tt its my sch holiday-a good long 3months whee! i think i can safely say tt it should last at least for the time being til my sch starts again :D ok shall head for bed soon. during e exams period im too use to sleeping late lyk really LATE -around 4am everyday until my body clock is all messed up! shall try to adjust back to normal now. plus i hav a game later 3pm at CCAB (in case u've neva heard of it, its behind botanic garden beside NUS law campus) 3PM! sure hope tt e sun is not too hot. if not i'll 'die' out pretty fast-n my opponents too i hope hehe- given e fact tt i hav not been running n jus eating junk food during the exam period :S ok shall go Zzz now.
